:: Code of Conduct for NTRA Players/Referees
- Play for the fun of it not just to please others.
e.g. your parents and coach.
- Play by the rules and be a good sport. Acknowledge
good plays, by your team and also by your opponents.
- Never argue with the officials’ decisions. Let your
captain or coach ask any necessary questions.
- Control your temper – no mouthing off, throwing
balls or other equipment.
- Work equally hard for yourself and your team- your
teams performance will benefit and so will your own.
- Treat all players, as you yourself would like to be
treated. Do not interfere with, bully, or take unfair
advantage of, any player.
- Remember that the goals of the game are to have fun,
improve your skills and feel good.
- Cooperate with your coach, teammates and opponents.
- Abide by all policies determined by the NTRA.
- Work towards achieving your full potential in Touch.
- Abide by both the rules and spirit of the sport.
- Inform your coach and the NTRA of any personal
injury or medical condition.
- Behave and dress in a dignified manner when
representing the NTRA both on and off the field.
- Acknowledge the NTRA, other Touch organisations and
it sponsors as opportunities arise.
- Comply with and support the NTRA Anti-Doping Policy.
- Neither possesses nor use prohibited, nor
participate in or condone any other practice prohibited
by the NTRA.
